The Department of Civil Engineering is proud to announce the successful master’s thesis defense of Maryam Issa Hasan AL-RUBAYE on September 5, 2025. Her thesis, titled “Numerical Studies to Assess the Effects of Seismic Activities on Underground Oil and Gas Pipelines”, was conducted under the supervision of Assist. Prof. Dr. Ali Abdulhussein Abdulridha ALMUSAWI and Dr. Mahmut Yavuz ŞENGÖR. The defense jury was chaired by Prof. Dr. Ahmed Askar Najaf Al AHMED from Al Karakh University of Sciences, with Assist. Prof. Dr. Şevki ÖZTÜRK from Çankaya University serving as a member, alongside the supervisors.
