Zeynep Demirel successfully presented her study titled “The Role of Autonomous Aggressive Driving in Enhancing Traffic Efficiency at Signalized Intersections: A Simulation-Based Study” virtually at the ISTEC 2024 Conference, hosted by Iskenderun Technical University on September 20-22, 2024.
International Conference on Smart Systems and Technologies (SST)
Our graduate student Taha Yasin Er gave his first international conference presentation titled “Enhancing Road Anomaly Detection with a Dynamic Cropping System: A YOLOv8 Integrated Approach” at the SST Conference. His study introduced an innovative method for detecting road anomalies using a dynamic cropping system supported by YOLOv8. This approach also included steps to develop a mobile application aimed at improving road safety.
ODSIE 2024 Conference
Graduate student Mustafa Albdairi successfully presented his study titled “Optimization of Signalized Intersections: Analyzing Autonomous Vehicle Behaviors through Data-Driven Simulations” at the ODSIE 2024 Conference. The conference was held at Istinye University, Istanbul, Turkey, on November 7-8, 2024.
7th International Azerbaijan Congress on Life, Engineering, Mathematical, and Applied Sciences
Mustafa Albdairi presented his research titled “Simulation-Based Analysis of Traffic Conflicts: Safety Implications of Autonomous Vehicle Integration at Urban Traffic” at the 7th International Azerbaijan Congress on Life, Engineering, Mathematical, and Applied Sciences, held in Baku, Azerbaijan, on June 25-27, 2024.
