Internship Orientation Presentation
Pre-Internship Requirements

- Internship Application Form: First, have this form approved by the relevant person at your internship location, then obtain the signature of our department internship coordinator.
- Mandatory Intern Student Insurance Entry Form: The student must complete this form and submit it to the department..
- Health Insurance Eligibility Document: The student must print the file from https://www.turkiye.gov.tr/spas-mustahaklik-sorgulama and submit it to the department.
- Fund Contribution Information Form for Internship Wages: This form, indicating whether the host organization will provide remuneration to the intern student, must be duly completed. In cases where payment is provided, the original receipt documenting the payment should be attached to this form. This requirement is waived for public institutions.
Post-Internship Requirements
- Students must add either the CE 200 or CE 300 course to their Fall 2024-2025 semester course registration based on the type of internship completed.
- The Student Internship Performance Evaluation Form, provided below, must be completed by the supervising engineer at the internship location. This form should be submitted in a sealed and signed envelope to the Internship Committee Secretary by Fall 2024-2025 course add/drop deadlines. Additionally, daily logs appended to the internship report must be signed and approved by the supervising engineer. For daily logs, you may follow the format provided in the “Sample Report.”
- Internship reports, prepared following the guidelines in the Internship Report Writing Guide below, must be submitted to the Internship Committee Secretary by the Fall 2024-2025 add/drop deadline. For a more comprehensive and meaningful report, please address as many of the ‘Internship Report Questions’ listed below as possible. You may also use the ‘Sample Report’ as a reference when drafting your internship report.

- Electronic copies (PDF format) of the internship reports must be uploaded to the relevant CE 200 or CE 300 page on webonline.cankaya.edu.tr by the Fall 2024-2025 add/drop deadline.
- After the evaluation process of the internship reports is completed, students are required to go to the relevant instructor who evaluated their reports, receive their evaluated reports and make the necessary corrections (if any).
- The revised versions of the internship reports in pdf format will be uploaded to the relevant CE 200 or CE 300 page on webonline.cankaya.edu.tr. In addition, the corrected hard copies should also be submitted to the relevant faculty member who evaluates the internship report upon request.
